What you are paying for

A clear recommendation.
And the work behind it.

01

Review what you already have

Consider the pension’s features, costs, restrictions and any valuable benefits before recommending a change.

02

Understand the recommendation

See why retaining or changing an arrangement may suit your objectives, with the relevant advantages, risks and costs explained.

03

Implement an agreed switch

If a switch is suitable and you proceed, we carry out the implementation included in your quote. Advice and implementation payment stages are set out in advance.

The scope matters

Which pension does the fee cover?

For a standalone assignment to review an additional pension for a possible switch, the standard calculation uses the new plan covered by that assignment. It does not automatically include pensions already with us.

If our advice is to keep your pension where it is, we do not normally charge. We check existing service promises and previously paid work. This service covers defined contribution pensions. We do not advise on transferring or converting defined benefit pensions or other safeguarded benefits; if these are involved, we explain the need for an appropriately authorised specialist.

Ongoing advice is
a separate choice.

We explain whether it is suitable and what it covers. Standard annual rates are 0.6% while building investments and 0.75% for drawdown, on the agreed assets. You can ask for one-off advice.

Understand the ongoing service ↗︎

A switch can involve losing valuable benefits or incurring costs. Consolidation is not automatically the right answer. Investment values can fall as well as rise.
